Eyeglasses Coordinator
3-5 hours a week
Looking for committed individuals to act as coordinator to oversee volunteers and facilitate glasses collection, collaboration between volunteers and clinics, and organization of logistics. Role involves mostly technical and digital work, especially hosting meetings with volunteers and other coordinators, using Google Drive to organize and keep record of volunteer activities. Occasionally will host in person events that involve glasses cleaning and sorting. Eyeglasses coordinators are the face of the organization that most volunteers engage with. Therefore experience in communication, sociable personality, and familiarity with digital interfaces is valued.

2-4 hours a week
The new Sustainability Coordinator role will be in charge of the development and management of initiatives that reduce waste, improve the responsible reuse and recycling of donated eyewear (namely damaged frames + lenses), and measure 20/20 Mission's environmental impact. They work across collection, volunteer, marketing, and clinic teams to integrate sustainable practices throughout the organization.

3-5 hours a week
The Education Coordinator develops and delivers educational initiatives that increase awareness of vision health, eyewear accessibility, and 20/20 Mission's work. They create resources, train volunteers and school clubs on educational initiatives, conduct awareness presentations, and ensure that educational information shared by the organization is accurate, accessible, and engaging.

approximately 4 hours per week
Seeking motivated youth leaders to take charge of our organization's grant development and fundraising initiatives. The Fundraising Coordinator will identify and research prospective funders, help prepare persuasive grant proposals, monitor funding deadlines, and maintain an organized system for applications, contacts, and supporting materials. The coordinator will work closely with other members of the team to understand program needs and develop funding strategies that can expand our impact. Most responsibilities will be completed remotely and digitally, with occasional participation in team meetings and fundraising activities. Strong research, writing, organization, and communication skills are especially valuable, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

2-4 hours per week
The Technology/IT coordinator is responsible for learning about different optometry equipment including lensometers, retinoscopes, autorefractors, ophthalmoscopes, etc and create educational content (infographics, videos) educating the volunteers and the general public. They will also be responsible for contacting clinics to obtain optometry tools to be used for future outreach trips. Having prior knowledge in web development is a bonus as the technology director may be assigned to maintain the 20/20 Mission website.
